Bingo is the game of luck in which you can win a lot of money in a blink of an eye. If it’s your day then you are going to win under any circumstances. I love playing this game as I’ve been playing this game for almost a decade. Now I am going to share my experience with you in relation to structure and shape of mahjong tiles/
The structure and shape of Mahjong tiles, differs from country to country. The number of tiles varies from 136 to 144.American or Japanese versions have more than 144 tiles .The tiles are christened as suits, honor or flowers.
Suits
Dots: The tiles are named thus, because each tile is composed of a number of circles. The circles are in turn shaped like copper coins, with a square hole in the centre.
Bamboos: It is a series of bamboo sticks, each can hold 100 coins. All bamboos are similar except the bird bamboo, which has a bird sitting on it.
Characters: These are tiles which represent ten thousand coins or a hundred bamboos each having one hundred coins.
Honor
Wind tiles: These represent the four directions -East, South, West, and North.
Dragon tiles: These are named as red, green, and white. These tiles were originally related to the Chinese Monarchy but were renamed as dragon tiles by Joseph Babcock when he introduced this game in America, with his Book written in 1920.Each dragon tile signifies some event. The red tile represents, that the player has successfully cleared the examination and has been appointed as an officer in the government. The green tile means the player has become prosperous, and the white tile signifies incorruptibility of the officer. In the original Chinese version of the game the dragon tiles represented archery; the red tile meant a bull’s eye, the white tile a miss and the green tile a draw
Different Tile
Flower
Flower tiles: It is the last category of tiles, and it is an optional component of the game. These tiles are tastefully decorated. The flower tiles are represented by plum, bamboo, orchid, and chrysanthemums. These tiles are symbolic of the four season’s spring, autumn, winter, and summer in which they bloom. All the suits are money based. The copper circles represent coins and when a round receives the maximum allowed limit a full string of coin is declared.
Setting up the board
The tiles are first shuffled, and are later collected in a pile. The players throw the dice and the player with the highest score becomes the banker. The bankers wind is the east; the player to his right gets the south wind, the next player to the right has the west and the next player has the North wind. After every round the game wind changes. At the start of the game the wind is set as east.
Dealing tiles
All the tiles are hidden and placed face down. The number of tiles, which each player gets depends upon, the total number of tiles the game is being played with. It could vary from, 17 to 19.The banker plays the dice and adds up the total. The banker is assigned the number1 and the players’ row is chosen by counting anti-clockwise starting with the banker. The banker takes the block 4 tiles to the left; the player to his right takes the next block of four tiles and so on, until each player has 12 tiles each or 16 tiles each depending on the type of the game.
